The PEG RV 5500 is a valve grinding machine specifically designed for processing large motor valves.
Thanks to its wide range of work, it is widely used in workshops of large engines, whether they are in the naval, railway, aeronautical sector or large vehicles for moving the earth.
The valve grinder for large PEG RV 5500 motors consists of a solid cast iron base.
The valve locking spindle allows the tightening of valves with a stem diameter up to Ø 40 mm and a minimum length of 95 mm, but thanks to the use of the support bezel it can extend up to 750 mm.
The comfortable control panel is located in front of the operator and houses:
- Start/stop wheel rotation
- Start/stop valve rotation
- Start/stop coolant pump
Valve rotation speed adjustment
The PEG RV 5500 is also equipped with an emergency stop button as required by current safety regulations.
The PEG RV 5500 valve grinding machine is supplied with a corundum grinding wheel with Ø 175×30 mm and 70 grit, which can be replaced with other optional silicon carbide, cubitron or titanium wheels.
The rich set of accessories supplied also allows the dressing of the grinding wheel, the stem grinding and the realization of the chamfer.
The machine includes also the pump for the grinding liquid, the splash shield in transparent plexiglass and the adjustable led light.
The PEG RV 5500 valve grinding machine can be further enriched with a series of extra accessories such as the variable wheel rotation speed, the large valves roll kit or the sheet metal banquet with wheels.
