PEG RV 3000 Engine Valve Grinding Machine for Valves Ø 4÷16 mm
The PEG RV 3000 valve grinding machine introduces a new processing standard in the grinding of engine valves, combining ease of use with professional accuracy.
DESCRIPTION
The mechanical solutions introduced on the PEG RV 3000 make it an easy-to-use yet extremely precise and reliable valve grinding machine.
Instead of the classic locking spindle, it adopts a V-shaped valve support made of two pairs of high-precision bearings that allow quick housing and perfect alignment of the engine valve, while rotation is driven by an aluminium wheel covered with a strip of adherent material for smooth, fluid movement.
The machine is supplied with a corundum grinding wheel Ø 175 × 30 mm, 70 grit, which can be replaced with optional silicon carbide, cubitron or titanium wheels to suit different valve materials, and all controls are positioned within easy reach of the operator on a comfortable panel.
The rich set of standard accessories also allows dressing of the grinding wheel as well as valve stem grinding and stem chamfering, while the machine already includes the coolant pump, a transparent plexiglass splash shield and an adjustable LED light.
Thanks to a range of extra accessories, such as the variable wheel rotation speed, the large-valve roller kit or the sheet-metal cabinet on wheels, the PEG RV 3000 can be tailored to each workshop’s needs, making it a versatile and cost-effective valve refacer for busy engine rebuilding shops.
APPLICATIONS
The PEG RV 3000 is the ideal valve refacer for standard automotive work, reconditioning intake and exhaust valves on cars, motorcycles, vans and light commercial engines, with valve heads up to Ø 100 mm and stem diameters from Ø 4 to 16 mm.
When larger valves for trucks, marine or industrial engines are involved, the PEG RV 5500 valve refacer for big engines is the natural choice within the same range.
