DESCRIPTION
The used Kwik Way SVS II Deluxe is a high-end valve grinder, ideal for mechanics and engine rebuilders looking for a reliable and accurate used machine.
Constructed with a solid spheroidal cast iron structure, this machine provides a sturdy and stable base to ensure precise and reliable machining operations.
The patented pneumatic clamping chuck with 6 ball bearings, including 3 front and 3 rear balls, clamps the valve stem with an extremely reduced contact surface.
This system, known as Centerless, ensures perfect alignment of the valve on its axis. The pedal-operated pneumatic lock keeps the operator’s hands free and improves operating efficiency.
The chuck has a variable speed between 100 and 300 RPM and can accommodate valves with a stem diameter of 4 to 14 mm, extendable to 21 mm with an optional accessory. The chuck head can be tilted up to 62° for specific machining operations.
The machine is equipped with a Ø 178 mm main grinding wheel for valve grinding and a Ø 76 mm secondary grinding wheel for stem base and chamfering operations. Both wheels feature a diamond dresser for efficiency and precision.
A 3.8-liter tank holds the grinding fluid, which is distributed through two flexible nozzles for optimal lubrication.
The control panel, located on the chuck head assembly, includes a selector for starting and stopping the wheel and chuck motors, a variable speed control for valve rotation, and a valve counter.
In addition, an automatic switch is activated when the hand lever is moved to the far right, completely stopping the wheel motor, chuck motor, and coolant pump. The machine is equipped with a splash guard and an adjustable headlight for increased safety and visibility.
