DESCRIPTION
The Borgo used dynamic balancing machine is designed for the balancing of rotating components, such as crankshafts, flywheels, and rotors, ensuring precision and vibration reduction.
It is a horizontal model, available with rigid or oscillating supports to accommodate various balancing requirements.
Rigid supports utilize piezoelectric force transducers to measure imbalance based on centrifugal force, while oscillating supports use electrodynamic transducers to detect vibrations and provide direct indication of the correction angle.
The dimensional calibration system allows for precise calculation of the angular position and imbalance value by entering the rotor’s geometric measurements.
For rotor drive, Borgo balancing machines can be equipped with cardan joint drive heads, ideal for high-inertia components, or belt drive systems, better suited for small-diameter rotors.
The rotational speed is adjustable to ensure high accuracy, while a digital tachometer displays the actual rotor speed.
The balancing machines’ electronic instrumentation can be digital or feature advanced systems with on-screen data visualization and balancing certificate printing.
The support beds are available in various lengths, with interchangeable hardened steel guides, and can be extended with additional modules to accommodate longer rotors or create a balancing pit for large-diameter components.
