DESCRIPTION

This surface grinder is equipped with a head with an oscillating movement type banner, which allows accurate surface machining. The fixed table, equipped with T-slots, ensures secure clamping of supports or the optional magnetic plate, guaranteeing stability and precision during grinding operations. The base is designed to maintain the geometric stability of the machine over time, preventing deformations that could compromise machining accuracy.

In practice, the workpiece is fixed on the fixed table by means of clamps or on a permanent magnetic plate, either mechanically or electromechanically. The mobile head, to which the abrasive cup is attached, moves over the surface of the workpiece with a radial oscillating motion. As the head moves back and forth, the cup pushes and pulls the grinding wheel across the surface to be machined, removing the higher parts. To obtain an optimal finish, it is recommended that the workpiece be unclamped and repositioned by rotating it 90° with each pass to improve the final roughness and parallelism of the machined surfaces.
