DESCRIPTION
The VFP 500, VFP 700 and VFP 900 pneumatic valve spring presses by Trego are professional bench-mounted machines designed for the quick and safe removal and installation of valve springs on a wide range of cylinder heads.
Reliable, versatile and easy to use, they are considered a benchmark for engine reconditioners and automotive professionals worldwide.
Versatility and modular structure
- Suitable for motorcycle, car, industrial vehicle and large engine cylinder heads up to over 1 meter in length.
- Available in three versions with press arm travel on the X-axis of 500 mm, 700 mm and 900 mm.
- The open design ensures full visibility during operations on valve springs, retainers and keepers.
- No cylinder head clamping is required: the positioning wheel system allows fast and precise alignment.
High performance and compressed air operation
- All models are pneumatically operated, with a recommended working pressure of 7 bar (100 psi) providing a maximum force of 200 kg, up to 285 kg at 10 bar (150 psi).
- Standard control via pneumatic foot pedal, with optional two-hand control for increased safety.
- Compatible with Trego Valve Keeper Tools and Valve Keeper Magnet for precise and safe handling of valve keepers.
Full adjustments for angled valves
- Tilted table up to 45° forward and 30° backward and adjustable post ±25°, ideal for angled or canted valves.
- Floating counter hold punch that automatically holds the valve when the pressure foot contacts the spring.
- Pressure foot travel on the Z-axis of 140 mm, precisely controlled via foot pedal.
- Slide hammer included to facilitate the removal of stuck valve keepers.
The VFP 500, VFP 700 and VFP 900 pneumatic valve spring presses are essential tools for any workshop specialized in engine reconditioning and repair.
Thanks to their robust structure, ease of use and wide range of adjustments, they ensure professional results even in the most demanding operations.
