The PEG 90 is a valve seat grinding machine which allows grinding operations with an abrasive wheel on engine valve seats with diameters between Ø 40 and 90 mm.

DESCRIPTION

PEG 90 valve seats grinder finds its best application in medium to large-sized engines, used in tracked vehicles, trucks and articulated vehicles.
The processing phase of the valve seat takes place through the combined action of three movements:

• Rotating movement
• Orbital movement
• Pendulum movement

Thanks to the synchronized combination of the 3 movements mentioned, the system is always perfectly aligned, and any technical errors are kept to a minimum.
In each phase, the whole machine is assembled with the utmost technical attention, in order to make the coupling of the parts as precise as possible.
The eccentric shaft that passes through the motor shaft is made with a fixed eccentricity, while all the components that take part in the rotation phase are carefully balanced and preloaded to avoid axial and radial play of the bearings.
Each unit is then subjected to a final inspection and test, to verify that the concentricity and symmetry requirements are respected.
There are 3 different versions of the PEG 90:
