DESCRIPTION

The PEG 8 is a precision-engineered valve seat grinding machine designed for the reconditioning of engine valve seats with diameters from Ø 16 to 48 mm.
Specifically developed for professional engine rebuilders and valve service workshops, the PEG 8 ensures high-precision machining on both standard and hard valve seats, thanks to its orbital grinding system.

Orbital Grinding Technology for Maximum Precision

Unlike traditional systems, the PEG 8 operates with a planetary movement that combines three simultaneous grinding actions:

• Rotational movement of the grinding wheel
• Orbital (planetary) movement of the grinding head
• Pendulum (oscillating) movement of the whole assembly

This triple action ensures constant point contact between the grinding stone and the valve seat surface.
As a result, the PEG 8 delivers flawless concentricity and a mirror-smooth finish, without the need for lapping after grinding.
In fact, post-process lapping is not recommended as it would negatively affect the surface quality achieved.

Built from ground and hardened components such as the spindle, eccentric shaft, and pilot guides, the PEG 8 ensures outstanding mechanical stability and dimensional precision.
