DESCRIPTION
The used NORBLAST SD9 cabinet shot peening machine is a machine for shot blasting and shot peening of mechanical components through the projection of metal balls or spherical abrasive at high speed.
The process generates a layer of residual compressive stresses on the surface of the part that improves fatigue and wear resistance, particularly indicated for components subject to cyclic loads such as crankshafts, connecting rods, springs and gears.
Alternatively, the machine is used for the dry surface cleaning of cast iron, steel and aluminium components, removing oxide, weld spatter and degraded coatings without the use of liquids or solvents.
