DESCRIPTION

The PROVALVE 1600 SL used valve seat cutting machine is a high-end machine tool designed to operate with maximum precision in the reconditioning and cutting of valve seats on cylinder heads of any size, from motorcycle engines to large industrial diesel engines.

Thanks to its robust structure and wide operational capabilities, it can process cylinder heads with a distance of up to 1610 mm between the first and last guide, ensuring perfect compatibility with all engine types.

The automatic centering system, supported by four air cushions, enables precise pilot alignment with a tolerance of just 0.01 mm, minimizing potential errors and enhancing machining quality. This system works in combination with a 360° rotating cylinder head support, allowing for quick and easy positioning of the workpiece and facilitating access to all valve seats to be machined.

The spindle, driven by a 0.75 kW servo-assisted motor, offers a rotational speed range from 0 to 700 rpm, ensuring effective material removal even on particularly damaged seats or those made from especially hard materials. The 250 mm vertical spindle stroke enables deep and progressive operations, while consistently maintaining control over the cutting depth thanks to a system equipped with an audible alert when the set quota is reached.

The 12-inch touch screen panel allows intuitive control of all the machine’s operating functions. Among these is the ability to record and print data related to seat cutting depth and valve sealing values, simplifying quality control during operations.

The PROVALVE 1600 SL is also equipped with an integrated tool grinder with diamond wheel for tool maintenance, a digital vacuum gauge for leak testing, tool storage drawer, tool setting gauge, and bubble level to ensure proper alignment.
