This version supports the setup of a second block during the boring operation on the first, ensuring continuous workflow. Programming the ACP 160A is intuitive, with working cycles stored for easy recall, simplifying repetitive tasks. Its automated functions include precise self-centering, spindle rotation, and feed initiation, and automatic repositioning after each cycle. This design minimizes operator intervention, enhancing productivity and consistency.
- The ACP 160S is ideal for rebuilders handling large volumes of similar engine blocks. This semi-automatic model features electronic servo control for spindle movements and a positioning control unit that facilitates both manual and semi-automatic operations. It is capable of performing cylinder boring, counterboring, chamfering, or sleeve cutting with reliable automatic control. Key features include quick approach to the start point, automatic boring depth recall, stepless variable spindle rotation and feed, and automatic spindle return, providing efficient handling of repetitive tasks with precise depth control.
- The ACP 160M offers a versatile and economical solution for workshops with a limited number of boring applications. This manual version is suitable for quick, safe, and cost-effective cylinder boring tasks. It provides dual spindle rotation speeds, a depth dial indicator for counterboring and chamfering, and adjustable electric limit switches. The ACP 160M also allows manual tool positioning, ensuring ease of operation and reliability in a range of boring applications.
Across all versions, the ACP 160 series incorporates several advanced features for efficiency and ease of use. These include stepless variable boring bar feed for precise control, a precision-ground ball screw for accurate feed adjustments, a spindle chip guard for safety, and integrated lighting to enhance visibility during operation. The airfloat and pneumatic clamping system allows smooth movement and secure clamping of the boring unit.
